When it comes to the brain, I’m a big nerd!

I wasn’t the best student growing up; thank you, ADHD!

Hi! I’m Jenny Lockwood, LCSW-S, and I’m here to partner with you in overcoming the challenges of life. I have been fortunate enough to have worked in this social work profession for over 20 years. I’ve had the honor in working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings, helping them cope and overcome some of life’s biggest obstacles.

And I want to help you too.

Clients find working with me to be a relaxed, conversational, and often humorous approach to care.

I love working with people who are ready to change and want to dig in to do the work so they can live the life they dream of without having to live in the past or worry about the future.

I help people achieve their goals through an individualized and tailored approach. Since earning my Masters of Social Work degree in 2009, I have become a Certified Clinical Trauma Therapist, trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy and Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping). I have also become a 200-hour Yoga Teacher and have completed a certification in Mindfulness.

I use all of this knowledge and experience in our therapy journey together. We will create a plan that reflects your goals and how we will work towards alleviating your presenting issues, using a variety of modalities that best meet your unique needs.

When you are ready to take the first step on your new path, I’ll walk alongside you to guide, support, and cheer you on.

Ashley Parrish, LCSW

Hi there! I’m Ashley Parrish, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and I’m here to help you navigate the ups and downs of being a teenager. With 16 years of experience, I understand the unique challenges you’re facing, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Are you dealing with any of these? If so, you’re not alone—these are normal parts of being a teen:

R

Anxiety and Stress: Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or stress? Whether it’s school, social situations, or just the pressures of daily life, we can work together to find coping strategies that help you feel more at ease.

R
Depression: Struggling with feelings of sadness or hopelessness? You don’t have to go through it alone. We’ll explore what’s going on and find ways to lift those heavy feelings and bring back some joy into your life.
R
Comparison and Peer Pressure: Tired of feeling like you don’t measure up to others? In a world full of social media highlights and peer expectations, I’ll help you build self-confidence and learn to value yourself for who you are, not who others think you should be.
R
Family Issues: Dealing with conflicts at home? Family dynamics can be tough, especially when you’re growing up. We’ll work on communication skills and finding common ground to make home life a bit smoother.
R
Connecting with Your Emotions: Finding it hard to understand or express your emotions? Emotions can be confusing and intense. I’ll teach you ways to connect with your feelings and express them in a healthy and constructive manner.
R
Outbursts and Anger: Having trouble controlling your anger or experiencing frequent outbursts? Anger is a natural emotion, but it can be tricky to manage. Together, we can develop strategies to help you stay calm and respond to situations without losing control.
R
Low Self-Worth: Feeling like you’re not good enough? It’s easy to feel down on yourself, especially during the teen years. We’ll work on building your self-esteem and recognizing your unique strengths and worth.
R
Social Media: Feeling the pressure from social media? It can feel like you’re constantly under a microscope. I can help you set healthy boundaries with social media and develop a balanced perspective on what you see online.

My approach centers on emotionally focused therapy and interpersonal psychotherapy. This means we’ll work on understanding your emotions and improving your relationships with others, helping you feel better and function better in your daily life.

The most important part of my work is building a strong connection with you. I believe that trust and rapport are the foundation of effective therapy, and I’m committed to making you feel seen, heard, and valued. Together, we’ll dive into the root of your challenges and work on practical solutions to help you grow and thrive.

If you’re looking for someone who truly understands what you’re going through and can provide the support and tools you need to flourish, I’m here for you. Let’s work together to overcome your struggles and reach your full potential.
